We started our story in Lubbock, TX. And while we've grown substantially since our 2010 start, our values haven't changed. Brandon Peters

Brandon grew up in Lubbock, Texas and started FiberTex in 2010 with Rick, a small group of workers and one bore rig. He spent the first seven years in the field learning all aspects of fiber infrastructure (drilling, plow, rock saw, aerial, splicing, design and fiber placement). This hands-on experience has helped shape FiberTex into the company it is today. This experience allows him to communicate with employees in the field and customers regarding all challenges that come with each particular project. FiberTex has grown through good relationships, hard work, and great customer services all which is achieved with open communication. Brandon has been happily married for 28 years and has four children, twin girls who will graduate from Texas Tech in the fall of 2021, a 19-year-old son currently at Texas Tech and a 9-year-old boy in the Lubbock Cooper school system. Brandon spends his free time fishing and traveling with his family.
Bruce Boyd
Chief Executive Officer
Bruce grew up in Marshall, Texas and moved to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Bruce spent the majority of his career in Logistics business working for a couple of the largest LTL carriers in the United States. Bruce joined FiberTex in 2016 as Vice President of Operations where he has helped FiberTex expand their footprint into the fiber optic construction world. As the current COO, Bruce oversees all tasks associated with employees, subcontractors and customers and drives our team of construction professionals to be as productive and efficient as possible to meet all customer expectations in a safe and reliable manner. Bruce is OSHA 30 certified and has helped lead our team to a very admirable safety record. Bruce has been married for 23 years and has a son at Texas Tech and a daughter at Lubbock Christian High School. Bruce spends his free time playing golf and routing on the Red Raiders.
Marty Stevens
Chief Operating Officer
Marty was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas where he attended South Plains College and Texas Tech University. He has spent 28 years in the communications industry where he has served in multiple positions within major MSO’s for the past 19 years. Marty has been married for 22 years and is the father of nineteen twin boys who attend Texas Tech and South Plains respectively and a daughter at Lubbock Cooper HS. Marty strives to be the best he can be and wants to lead by example. He is passionate about all sports and his favorite pastime is watching his kids and his beloved Red Raiders.
Gabe Rodriguez
Lubbock Operations Manager
Gabe grew up in Littlefield, Texas and later moved to Lubbock where he graduated from Monterey High School. He started out in the Denim industry for 5 years prior to starting with FiberTex in 2010. Gabe has worked in all aspects of fiber optic installation from drilling to aerial. This hands-on experience is vital in the management of projects. In his free time, Gabe enjoys gaming and spending time with his 4 kids and wife.
Spencer Feaster
Dallas/Ft Worth Operations Manager
Spencer was born and raised in Louisiana and attended college at Louisiana Tech University. From there his path took him down a few different career opportunities before getting into telecommunications in early 2009. Since 2009 he has spent over a decade working with and leading crews to deliver a quality product in a timely manner. Spencer started with FiberTex in 2015 and has filled several different rolls with the company prior to settling in as Dallas/Ft Worth Operations Manager. In his spare time, Spencer enjoys spending as much time as possible with his two young sons and his dog Cheeto.
Kevin Small
Abilene Operations Manager
Kevin was born and raised in the Dallas/Ft Worth area and moved to Lubbock in 2007. Kevin started his career in the oil and gas industry and transitioned into fiber optics in 2017 when he joined FiberTex. Kevin has been married for 14 years to his wife Leigh Ann. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys golfing, fishing and traveling with family and friends.
Jonathon Webb J Webb
Permian Basin Operations Manager
J Webb was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas graduating from Lubbock-Cooper High School. After graduating he went to work for his family-owned business making and distributing car wash products. Since joining FiberTex, J Webb has been a project manager running the San Antonio area operations. J Webb and his wife of 20 years have 3 kids and 1 grandson. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and going to the lake with his family.
Chuck Horton
Inspection Manager
Chuck was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. After finishing high school at Lubbock Christian HS, he went on to get his degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Chuck worked in the MRO supply industry for 10 years, after that he went to work in the oil and gas industry as a purchaser/material inspector for 6 years. Chuck and his wife have two boys. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and fishing.
Brady Leatherwood
Lubbock Splicing Manager
Brady was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from Frenship High School and attended South Plains College. In 2015, Brady started his fiber optics career with NTS Communications learning the ins and outs of basic fiber optics knowledge as well as running single fiber optic drops. Brady began his career with FiberTex in 2017 as a splicer working on main line splicing for multiple school districts and telecommunication companies. Brady spent a couple of years in the Metroplex working with FiberTex to expand their operations. In 2020, Brady moved back to Lubbock to manage splicing for several local projects. Brady and his wife have a 1-year-old and are expecting their second child later this year. He enjoys traveling, being outdoors on the lake and fishing.
Kyle McGill
Abilene Splicing Manager
Kyle graduated Tremont High School in Tremont, Illinois in 2000. He moved to Lubbock in 2004 and began his career in fiber construction as an aerial installer. After about a year, began working for NTS as a splicer, working his way to management in 4 years. He started working for FiberTex in 2017 as a splicing manager and project manager. In his free time, Kyle likes spending time with his family and friends, riding ATVs, boating at the lake and golf.
MeMe Turner
Office Manager
MeMe is a Lubbock native and graduate of Lubbock High School. She attended Texas Tech University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing. She started her career in banking where she found her passion for helping people. While working for another finance company, she and a few friends (along with her husband) opened a fitness facility where she was able to use her experience and passion to run a successful business for 5 years. In her free time, MeMe likes to travel, fish and spend time with her family, friends and 2 dogs.
